  • Aaron Martin

    Born in Bridgetown, WA. Lives and works in Melbourne. Aaron Martin has been consistently exhibiting his imagistic paintings, drawing and sculptural installations since 1998, he has held numerous solo and group exhibitions across Australia. He has twice been a finalist in the John Leslie Art Prize and a finalist in the Paul Guest Art Prize (2014) and the Churchie Art Prize (2011). He was awarded art residencies at: St Vincents Hospital (2010), Ballilla House, Brighton (2011), Poh Chang University, Bangkok(2013) and Naresuan University, Phitsanulok, Thailand (2013).

    As an educator, curator and gallerist; Aaron has been and is actively involved in the arts, lecturing in painting and drawing at Melbourne School of Art (2001-06) and Swinburne University (2005-12). He worked as writer, interviewer and creative advisor for ArtInfo.com.au. He has held a seat on the board of Trocadero Art Space (2008-2010) and Vice-President (2010-2015). In 2012 he founded Five Walls Projects where he is the current Director. He is currently undertaking a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts (by research) at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne.

  • Pimpisa Tinpalit

    Native of Thailand, sculptor Pimpisa Tinpalit holds a Master's Degree in Fine Art with an particular focus on sculpture. Pimpisa has extensive experience in teaching art within multiple Thai Universities. Throughout her 15+ years as a professional artist, she has showcased her work in solo and group exhibitions in Thailand, Japan, Singapore, USA, Korea, Hong Kong and Australia. In 2016 she founded BlackCat Gallery, Collingwood, where she is the current Director and Curator
