Exhibit with Us at Sol Gallery

Sol Gallery is now accepting submissions from emerging and established artists for upcoming group and solo exhibitions. We’re seeking bold, thought-provoking, and visually compelling work across all mediums—painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, installation, and more.

SUBMIT APPLICATION

  • • exhibitions run for two weeks ( including installation and de-installation )

    • online catalogue and sell artworks 2 weeks before exhibition, the online catalogue will remain

    on the website for two weeks after the exhibition ends (6 weeks total online)

    • opening reception from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. / Wed ( same night with two spaces )

    • exhibition and openings are supervised by gallery staffs.

    • gallery will takes a 25% commission (inc. GST) on all sales

  • Gallery Space & Facilities

    • Use of the gallery space for the agreed hire period, including setup and pack-down time.

    • Access to exhibition areas, display walls, and hanging systems.

    • Use of plinths, display furniture, and basic tools (where available).

    • Basic utilities – lighting, electricity, heating, and cooling.

    • Standard cleaning before and after the exhibition.

    • Repairs to gallery walls and surfaces to return them to original condition after deinstallation.

    Installation & Technical Support

    • Professional installation by the gallery’s technician.

    • Assistance and advice from gallery staff during installation and deinstallation.

    • Provision of basic tools and equipment as needed.

    Staffing & Operations

    • Front-of-house staff / gallery sitters during weekday and weekend gallery hours.

    • Supervision of the gallery space and management of artwork sales.

    • Administrative and operational support throughout the exhibition period.

    Marketing & Promotion

    • Email exhibition invitation distributed to the gallery’s subscriber database.

    • Promotion of the exhibition across the gallery’s online platforms (Facebook, Instagram, website).

    • Inclusion on the gallery’s website and in the online exhibition catalog.

    • Creation of a digital flyer for online promotion.

    • Exhibition listing in Art Almanac (or similar art directories).

    • Vinyl signage on gallery windows and internal walls.

    Documentation

    • Professional photography of the opening night and exhibition documentation.

    • due to our full liquor license and RSA regulations mandated by Australian law, we will organise

    and staff opening night functions, provide bar services, and sell drinks.

    Drinks will be served by staff, and complimentary drinks will be reserved exclusively for artists.

  • Exhibition Fee : gallery per 2 weeks show / inc GST

    SPACE 1 : $3,690 / 2 weeks

    SPACE 2 : $3,690 / 2 weeks

    PROJECT ROOM : $2,200 / 2 weeks

    W1 : Window Room : $380

  • The proposal for solo show and group show should include:

    • name, address and contact details

    • the title of the exhibition

    • support material with clearly labeled jpg images

    • a current CV (brief) as a word document or pdf

    • A brief outline of the ideas and concepts behind your work

    • an exhibition plan (how you intend to use the space) preferred dates
