CHAMNAN CHONGPAIBOON

Chamnan draws inspiration from Pointillism, an artistic technique using dots to create images, and the methods employed in Aboriginal dot-work paintings. These influences have helped him to establish his own distinctive style. Focusing on the female figure, he skillfully combines texture and color to craft mesmerizing portraits. To Chamnan, every dot symbolizes an alphabet, with their collective arrangement representing the formation of words. Furthermore, he sees the continuous circulation of dots as a portrayal of storytelling, with several rings of circles coming together in one place to symbolize the creation of a complete narrative.
