Open Call: Group Exhibition “Still Life”

Still Life invites artists to engage with the tradition and transformation of the still life genre in contemporary art. Long associated with quiet domesticity, mortality, beauty, and material culture, the still life has evolved from formal table settings to conceptual reflections on presence, absence, and the passage of time. This exhibition seeks to explore how artists are reinterpreting these themes today.

Group Exhibition - Wall Space Booking
This exhibition is limited to five artists. Each artist can choose a wall to display their works. Please select your preferred wall and download the floor plan to make your choice.
Wall Options:
Wall D: 4.65 meters / $600 BOOKED
Wall A: 5 meters / $650 BOOKED
Wall E: 3.7 meters / $550 AVAILABLE
Walls F, G, J: 4.82 meters / $590 BOOKED
Walls H & I: 4.65 meters / $650 BOOKED


Media Accepted: All visual art forms including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital, video, installation, and mixed media.

Eligibility: Open to artists of all backgrounds and levels, working locally or internationally.


Submission Requirements:

  • Images of recent or previous work (JPEG, max 2MB each)

  • Title, medium, dimensions, and year for each piece

  • Artist statement (max 150 words)

  • Bio (max 150 words)

  • Optional: website or social media links

  • Work on paper needs to be framed.

  • All works submitted must be available for sale at the exhibition.

  • Gallery takes commission of 25% including GST

Exhibition arrangements

  • Opening hours Tue - Sun  11:00 am - 6:00 pm.

  • Exhibitions run for two weeks ( including installation and de-installation )

  • Exhibitions and openings run by gallery

  • Openings reception from 6:00 - 8:30 pm of the agreed on Wed

    (same night with two spaces)

  • Online catalogue and sell artworks 2 weeks before exhibition, the online catalogue will remain on the website for two weeks after the exhibition ends (6 weeks total online)

  • Gallery will take a 25% commission (inc. GST) on all sales

  • Exhibition install technician / our technician handles installation

    Any booking is only valid after it is confirmed by the organizer. 

  • Exhibition Fee : gallery per 2 weeks show / inc GST
