My artwork is a tribute to the ecosystems which provide us with the gift of our native flowers. I believe each species deserves to be seen, recognised and revered for their individual beauty and their peculiar personalities. I paint as a practice of gratitude. The time I spend with each flower feels like nurturing a kinship of connection and appreciation.

I believe that flowers possess the power to mend the divide between nature and mankind. In doing so, they ask us to care for the precious Australian landscape from which they arise.

In creating these floral pieces, it is a chance for myself and the wider community to celebrate the colours and warmth that exists within Australia’s unique biodiversity.
