I am a contemporary sculptor working with different materials, eg. wood, concrete, and I also have work done in stainless steel, bronze and aluminium. Making art is an obsession to me, I gain immense satisfaction from the whole process.

I usually like to start a piece with a preconceived idea but that can lead off into different tangents at any time during the creative process. All of my work starts in wood. Indoor pieces are given a textural finish and then painted to achieve the finished result that I am after.

My work is influenced mainly by the Australian landscape, the environment has so much to offer an artist. Even though I am mainly an abstract artist some of my latest work is figurative, representing the human form in the landscape.
