Previously I have focused on nudes, portraiture and random pieces that I felt never sat anywhere. It is now I understand the variance of my works and no longer criticise. My paintings are born from my spiritual response to energy, whilst music is the flow. With eyes shut and music playing, I draw. It feels like the music is drawing and I am conducting an orchestra as energy flows through me to the pencil. Colour is applied purely intuitively. Almost in a colour by numbers process, certain shapes call for certain colours. Falling into the colour and texture of the paints whilst worldly thoughts ,knowledge and instructions pass through. I am one of the tools in the creation of these works equally to the pencil, paint, paper or canvas. They are a collaboration, with 53 + pieces in this continuing series.

I never know what is going to present on my canvas.

Artist finds inspiration in spirituality, uses music as a catalyst for creativity. Begins with meditation, followed by quick, energy-intensive drawing process. Draws with eyes closed, feeling like conducting an orchestra. Works on large scale, physically demanding. Colors intuitively over days, immersed in paints and textures. Sees self as a tool alongside paint, canvas, and music. Receives titles and meanings from spirit. Views paintings as mosaic pieces during creation, sees complete image later. Finds peace and inspiration in creating, feels immense gratitude. Artwork seen as gift for rightful custodians to appreciate deeply.
