Our supermarket shelves may sparkle, but behind the shine lurk factory farms, overfished oceans, and plasticwrapped everything. These cheeky, thoughtful drawings are here to gently poke you in the ribs — a reminder that every item you toss into your trolley is a choice that shapes the world. A little food for thought.
With over 40 years as a professional artist, the practice explores a wide range of drawing mediums, with graphite pencil remaining a preferred tool. Works focus on wildlife, nature studies and found objects, combining precision with a deep appreciation for detail.
Recent works return to the imaginative and fantastical, blending natural history with mechanical influences. Biomechanical visions, animal textures, reimagined folk tales and the hidden stories within everyday objects become recurring themes.
Primarily working in graphite, the artist incorporates subtle touches of coloured pencil, watercolour washes and organic stains. The work explores the space where realism and imagination meet, inviting viewers to discover new stories within every line and shadow.
