Earlier this year, an illness struck me down unexpectedly. I had to take medications that had caused significant side effects. This exhibition is a reflection of my experience.
This exhibition is to support the people of Myanmar and all profits will be donated to the Burmese Community Development Collaboration (BCDC) and the Kind Heart Foundation.
I was well before
I was seeing patients this morning
Suddenly I am sick
My body is itching
My skin is burning
My stomach is spasming
My heart is racing
I keep losing fluids
Top and bottom
My veins are flat
My chest is tight
I can’t breathe
My chest is tight
I can’t breathe
Can someone help me?
Please help me.

Bio
Thinn Thinn is a physician, visual artist and poet. She is originally from Yangon, Myanmar and now based in Melbourne.
Thinn Thinn discovered her love for art and nature from playing in her grandmother’s garden as a child. She uses a variety of techniques and media to express the small moments of daily life. Her work focuses on reflective stories about creative grieving, migration and human rights issues in Myanmar.
