Attasit Pokpong is considered one of the fastest rising stars of Thai art scene. He is technical master of both watercolour and oil painting, renowned for his mesmeric portraits of Asian women.
Pokpong’s paintings are a blend of the pop and surrealist styles. His vivid useof colour paired with a sfumato painting technique creates a hypnotic contrast, luring the viewer deeper into the subject’s gaze.
His unique style has attracted considerable international attention, prompting exhibitions in Shanghai and Paris in 2009, Dublin and Edinburgh in 2008, Hong Kong and Japan in 2006 and 2007, and in New York in 2010 and ect.
