Thai-born, Kenz’s works are inspired by his childhood love of animation and old-school cartoons. Nostalgic characters of pop-culture are brought to life through a neon colour palette and bold line work that gives his figures a shiny, balloon-like appearance.
Kenz is interested in how artificial objects can evoke such strong memories in both the conscious and unconscious mind.
