SPACE 3: GAYA

Gaya is an Australian abstract and mixed-media artist. Her career has spanned over two decades as an artist and performing artist.
Her creativity was nurtured, first, by her worldly and diverse upbringing. Gaya, throughout her life, has been a traveller, having lived in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and many other countries, spanning cultures and continents.
Gaya’s innovative and inspiring use of materials and mediums are regularly recognized in private and corporate collections throughout Australia, United States, Canada, Asia and Europe. She was invited to exhibit at Art Basel Miami 2016, Singapore Contemporary Art Fair, Affordable Art Fair and the National Art Gallery Singapore, to name a few. Additionally, she has been the recipient of several art awards including at the Jaipur Art Festival and the Lethbridge Art Awards.
At present, Gaya is based in Australia and continues to stretch the boundaries of her artistic process, working with cold wax, pastels, oil, acrylics and more.
