This artwork explores the concept of perception and hidden narratives in our surroundings.
Jesse studied accounting and fine arts, and is currently engaged in translation, curatorial and artistic practice. He is particularly familiar with the many theories of New Materialism: Speculative Materialism, OOO (Object-Oriented Ontology) and others. Perhaps it is because of his inspection on anthropocentric rationalism that he is an author who constantly overthrows his own solutions in the course of his work. To him, creation is about doing a job, screwing up, and being able to do it all over again, that could be a new exploration and beginning. This allows him to bypass the stumbling block of 'ego' in his work and to seize the power of thinking. As he puts it, "art is no longer a representation of the external world, but a potential field where events can take place". In this project he proposes a method of creation he calls "seamless binding", which gives humour and drama to objects by creating temptations and setting "traps", saying that his work is intended to achieve the effect that " disguise a pistol with your fingers against your clothes ".
