Adelaide-based artist Juliane Brandt portrays identity as a continuous evolution of strength and adaptation. Working with charred wood, ceramic, and metal, her figurative sculptures showcase the powerful transformation originating from the rejuvenating forces of nature.

In her Melbourne debut featuring the popular Rekindle series – using reclaimed materials like juggling clubs and weathered fence posts – Juliane Brandt suggests that our true geography is shaped by interactions, revealing a profound strength and regeneration that emerges from our willingness to adapt.
