My Sculptural works come from a very exploratory process, stepping into the studio with no preconceived ideas, armed with just enthusiasm and playful curiosity, this is the most enjoyable part for me, where anything is possible, and I can be just free to create. After this exploration I turn to creative problem solving, trying to gauge what material would lend itself best for creating this said piece, In the past I primarily have used steel, timber, lighting and bronze casting as mediums for creating my work.
The use of clean lines as building blocks in my art has always been intuitive for me. It’s a way I can bring structure, form and control into my world.
My work represents my ongoing journey beyond self-doubt, towards self expression through colour, repetition and form.
