Fear and Curiosity

The fascination with darkness, encompassing both fear and curiosity, has been a perpetual theme for me. Its lawless universe tempts us to venture beyond our comfort zones, while also instilling trepidation. In 'Fear and Curiosity,' I explore this duality by merging images and text from different eras,

These reflections on the human condition manifest as glimmers on etched metal, capturing fleeting moments in the vast sea of causation. The profound 'mezzotint' black, pursued by printmakers, conceals mysteries from our past and echoes of the present. We yearn to embrace an unconstrained world while risking our comfort.

Within the dark expanse, sparks illuminate the void, revealing the weathered reality etched in pitted steel. Amidst celestial depths, numbers govern the moon's dance and space's flux. A glimmer of hope leads us to new pathways. Light streams into magical rooms, penetrating the darkest recesses of thoughts, illuminating the future.
