The Places of Dreams

Places are where people have memories, make new memories and are special places to visit or to think of. In the last couple of years, many people have been missing so much about their own places where their stories are kept behind.

I also have been thinking of places where I used to have happy moments and missed them very much. Then I started to stretch out some of those memories together and extensively added imaginary series of dreamlike atmosphere.

Based on actual places, I tried to create and express another perspective of the sceneries through subtle colours and soft shapes. I create a place of simplicity, mystery for the imagination to explore and safety for the mind to become peaceful.

Even though the landscape is presented in such abstract and simplified forms I tried not to lose the essence of the particular image. In this way, I hope you can relate to the places I have been dreaming of.
