ECHOES IN PAINT

New work from independent artist Steve Leadbeater.

This body of work combines themes of ancient myths, spirituality and the human condition. The visual approach is full of wild expressive energy that elicits an emotional response. As joyful as it can be confronting. 

Figurative works transition into abstraction and then back again. In this way they are like echoes. Echoes of each other, the process of their creation, and the influences, conscious or otherwise, that have shaped the work.
