Thai artist Thosaporn Suthum’s practice is interested in the mediation between the artist and medium, taking inspiration from the abstract- expressionist movement of the 1960’s. Thosaporn’s textural canvases investigate the dichotomy of the expected vs the unexpected, the surface of the canvas reflects the artist’s emotional complexity.
Thosaporn is a graduate of Silpakorn University in Bangkok and has exhibited work throughout Thailand, South Korea and Australia.
