Imagination Made Visible
The works are generally abstract with figurative references that relate to natural shapes, textures and phenomena. In recent years I have explored ideas in abstraction to represent physical and psychological landscapes. My intention is to discover and maintain a bridge between form and the formless. I create contemplative art originating from a deep awareness of being alive with a fascination of things known and unknown. My artworks can be described as ethereal, romantic, fluid or sometimes turbulent. I do not work with a predetermined subject in mind – my paintings are symbolic of the connection to the Earth and natural forces.
