An exploration of identity, vulnerability, strength, restraint, and the tension that exists between them.

Vivienne Maher is a Melbourne-based artist, photographer, and creative director whose work explores emotion, connection, identity, and the relationship between people and their inner world. Working across photography and mixed media, her practice is driven by a fascination with what lies beneath the surface; those inner moments, expressions, and energies that often go unseen. Drawing on a background in portraiture, commercial photography, and fine art, she creates work that sits between observation and intuition, balancing documentary elements with emotional and conceptual exploration. Alongside her artistic practice, Vivienne exhibits, collaborates with other creatives, and continues to develop bodies of work that examine beauty, humanity, and the invisible threads that connect us.
